Testnet Faucets for the OrcaRail Sandbox: EVM, Solana and Bitcoin

· 2 min read
OrcaRail
Crypto payment rails for web2 apps

An OrcaRail sandbox organization runs on testnets only, so you pay with free test tokens instead of real funds. This page lists a faucet for every testnet the sandbox supports.

You don't need any tokens at all if you only want to see the flow: click Simulate payment on a sandbox payment page, or call POST /payment_intents/:id/simulate. See Simulate payments.

What you need

  • The token you pay with: USDC on EVM chains and Solana, or BTC on Bitcoin.
  • Gas for the transaction: ETH on EVM chains or SOL on Solana. Bitcoin pays its fee in BTC.

Use the payer wallet you will connect on the OrcaRail pay page.

USDC for every chain: Circle faucet

The Circle USDC faucet sends free test USDC on each EVM testnet below and on Solana Devnet. Pick the network, paste your wallet address and request the tokens.

Bitcoin testnet4

OrcaRail uses Bitcoin testnet4 (explorer: mempool.space testnet4). Use a wallet that supports testnet4 addresses.

Tips

  • Faucets rate-limit requests, often to one request per address per day. Request early.
  • Some gas faucets ask you to sign in or to hold a small mainnet balance.
  • Your sandbox shows exactly which testnets are active. See Testnets and faucets for the rules: live organizations can't use testnets, and sandboxes can't use mainnets.
